WHAT IS A “TINY WEDDING”?

A tiny wedding is a simple, modern, exclusive, less-is-more approach to your wedding day. You enjoy your day with up to 30 of your nearest and dearest, or just the two of you. The shared collection of wedding professionals have designed a beautiful celebration for you according to their vision.

 

DO WE GET MARRIED WITH OTHERS AT THE SAME TIME?

No! You select your time for your wedding with your guests. Your celebration is managed by us to smoothly flow and end on time so that your time does not overlap with anyone else’s time. But don’t be late!

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY WEDDING?

Some of the top wedding professionals in Savannah!

  • Designed Aesthetic – All of the décor to create the mood from the vision board. This might include chairs, tables, linens, altar, table décor, styling elements, florals, and more!

  • Venue/Planning – Each event is planned by our resident event artist:

  • Officiant – A 15-minute Ceremony – vows will be kept simple but may be customized if needed

  • Photographer – At least 100 hi res images of your Ceremony, Tiny Reception, Styled Invitation Flat-lay,  and 30-minute Couples-only session after. Print Release included.

  • Invitation Tiny-Suite – Your custom invitation and envelope for up to 30 addresses

  • Florist - Bouquet and Boutonniere (as needed)

  • Cake – For the two of you to cut and enjoy, plus a sweet bite for your guests

  • Rentals - To set the scene and create the aesthetic

  • China, Glassware, Linens - Elevate your event with real china and glassware and beautiful linens

  • Beverage – A glass of Champagne, Sparkling Wine, Rosé, or drink that fits the vision board

  • First Dance – Bring your 45-minute playlist for your Tiny Reception, but we will have one on-hand too

  • Live Ceremony Music – Harp, Cello, Flute, and/or Violin – each musical choice is dependent on the vision but feature musicians from Savannah's professional scene including the philharmonic orchestra

    • Kerri Sellman - ​Violinist duo

  • Live Artist – Oooh la la! A live artist will paint your wedding ceremony on an 18x24 Strathemore Mixed Media paper made with gouache, watercolor, and ink. Each couple will take home your custom painting. 

  • Departure Celebration – Bells, Ribbons, Sparklers, or Bubbles, it’ll be a surprise!

  • Up to 30 guests – a handful more can be added (see below)

WHAT TIMES ARE AVAILABLE?

Each Tiny Wedding at HOLLYOAKS ON THE MARSH will have specific times, generally, as follows:

9:30 a.m.          12:00 p.m.          2:30 p.m.          5:00 p.m.

 

HOW IS MY CELEBRATION PLANNED?

Each Tiny Wedding at HOLLYOAKS ON THE MARSH follows a precise timeline:

  • Arrival + Seating – 10 minutes

  • Ceremony – 15 minutes

  • Tiny Reception – 40 minutes

  • Departure Celebration – 10 minutes

  • Portrait Session – 30 minutes

 

MAY I CUSTOMIZE MY CELEBRATION?

We can accommodate dietary concerns and, of course, your invitation customizations. Your officiant will reach out to you to make sure that your vows are perfect for you. Other vendors may offer additional services, but when it comes to a choice of design and vendors, that’s our specialty. Remember, this is a stress-free experience without the endless decisions that accompany a large-scale wedding.

 

MAY I INCLUDE MY FUR BABY?

As much as we would love to, a Tiny Wedding cannot include our furry friends.

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY CELEBRATION?

You choose! Many couples head to a restaurant reservation; others head straight for the airport to start their honeymoon.

 

MAY I INCLUDE A WEDDING PARTY?

You may include up to two honor attendants (Maid of Honor, Best Man, etc) Any flowers for your attendants would incur a nominal fee.

 

MAY I CHOOSE MY COLORS?

Remember, we are making this easy for you to enjoy your celebration without decisions or distractions. Each Tiny Wedding celebration has its own Pinterest mood board.
